12 Beginner Peptide Mistakes (and How to Avoid Them)

mistakes that trip up nearly every first-timer, with the simple fix for each.

1. Buying from untested suppliers

Why it hurts: Diluted, mislabeled, or contaminated product means zero results — and you wrongly conclude peptides don’t work.

2. Using sterile water instead of bacteriostatic

Why it hurts: Sterile water has no preservative, so the solution degrades in 1–3 days.
Fix: Use bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol); refrigerated, it keeps peptides stable up to ~28 days.

3. Dosing too low

Why it hurts: Below the minimum effective threshold the peptide does nothing — the same as not using it.
